2011 Open Championship

The 2011 Open Championships were held at HALC on Sunday 17 April 2011. It was a successful tournament.

Thirty-three (33) events were offered, with 28 events being conducted on the day. One hundred and thirteen players (113) entered the tournament, with one hundred and nine (109) turning up to play. Three hundred and fifty-seven (357) matches were played on twenty (20) tables over twelve (12) hours. Our youngest contestant was nine (9) years old and our oldest contestant, Dot DeLow, one hundred years young.
